Last night’s scheduled “Music in the Park” in Moundsville was cancelled by the sponsors due to the heavy rains early in the day and a forecast calling for rain during the time of the event. They have rescheduled the band to take part in “A Day at the Park” on Saturday, September 15 and perform from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at the river park. Other entertainment and family activities are being planned for the event and will be announced in the near future.
The band had a lot of fun at the Eagles last Friday during PC alumni weekend. It was really great seeing some of our friends and classmates. Steve, Jamie (of the Steve and Jamie Band (alias “Days Later”)) and Lee Ann will be reuniting with some of their classmates this Saturday as the Magnolia Class of “77″ will be gathering at the LWFC for a good time. The band will be supplying some of the music and we are looking forward to guest appearances by some of the other talented musicians (mostly drummers) from the Class of “77″. Should be a great time. Don’t forget to come out to hear the band in concert at River Heritage Days this Sunday at 2:00 PM and in Paden City at Music in the park next Thursday.
A big thanks to the all of our friends in Hundred for inviting us to share in their 4th of July celebration. The band was honored to share the stage with those who entertained the crowd throughout the day. Barb was excited to be playing for her “homies”. The rain stayed away and a good time was had by all. Thanks to Greg and the staff from Sounds Incredible for providing the sound equipment for the show. Fantastic job, guys! It was also very nice to see all of the family faces in the crowd.
