Entry for March 8, 2009

The band has been preparing for a busy year in 2009. We kicked off the year and had a great time at the Speilers Club on Valventines Day. The band will be at the Lincoln Theater on March 28 as part of a benefit concert for Relay For Life. The band will be in concert on June 26 at Waterfront Park in Mondsville and on July 8 on the waterfront at Heritage Port in Wheeling, Mark your calendars and be there if you can. We would like to welcome Bryan Wickes to the Band who will be taking over as the band’s sound engineer. We are looking forward ro another fun year, so please check the website for scheduled places/dates and join us when you can.

Thanks….and we had a wonderful time also. Cancer is a disease that has affected some of us personally and we really felt the need to do this benefit. Kudos to Teresa for her professionalism in organizing this event. Tina, Ryan, and Bill also did a wonderful job. Hope to be asked back next year….

I agree with WOW! Have you all considered renting the theater for a concert?

We will definetly see your summer outdoor shows.

What a great show last Saturday. Ryan, Bill and Tina did a great job. Your band is unbelievable, so authentic, truly magical. Together, with Lee Ann, Barb and Roland, a night to remember. Cudos to the Wesbanco team for putting this together. (nice website)

I bought a cd at the relay - it is really wonderful, I only wish that Tina would have sung more at the concert; she has such a nice voice. Bill and Ryan did a very good job, but you were far and above the highlight of the night. Fantastic performance.

Are you all planning any other local (hometown) concerts this summer?
April 4th, 2009 at 7:11 am
We see Barb and Roland doing a lot of Karaoke and were wondering if the band was really playing everything all the time or if some of it was Karaoke and syncing in some of the parts live. Seems to be a lot going on at times for 4 guys and we noticed a CD player back by the sound guy.

You must be joking, right? Wow!!!

As far as the CD player in the back, that is for music during our breaks only. We would never lip sync or have music play while we perform, never, never, never. As far as alot going on, Scott’s key board has many different sounds and as well as Lee Ann, Barb, and myself doing the singing, Jamie, Scott, and Mark also sing. We practice very hard to give our audience the very best performance we can, but thank you for thinking that maybe we were syncing or having music play with us. That is really a compliment.

The band was never better than last Saturday at the Lincoln. After last night I think you should learn “The Near Future” by Irving Berlin.
April 5th, 2009 at 1:02 pm
We already know that song …. we just don’t usually play it in clubs. Great song, by the way, a classic!
